The Design King Company were engaged to update and renew the hotel for it’s current owners, creating a standout building with stunning modern interiors while maintaining the structure’s coastal charm.

The DKC interiors team started with the premise that they wanted the guests to enjoy an experience of the hotel that balanced a relaxed beach style with a sophisticated Mediterranean coastal vibe. With this brief in mind DKC approached Mayfield for bedside lighting that suited this vision.

The Mahala, Pia and Remi Desk Lamps were specified, with their style and materiality complementing the hotel’s guest room schemes. Each design fits the sophisticated Mediterranean coastal theme, with rich textures of Marble and Brass, and warm hues of Sage, dusty Pink and White. Each room was designed carefully to create a sense of generous space matched with a real sense of comfort and delight in its natural and warm finishes.
