Refund Policy

Online Change of Mind Returns

Purchases of stock lines from mayfieldlighting.com.au are backed by our 14-day money-back guarantee. To receive a refund for a change of mind, the following conditions apply. 

  • Notify us in writing via sales@mayfieldlighting.com.au.
  • Items must be In a saleable condition and in their original packaging.
  • Item/s must not have been installed, altered or damaged.
  • Returned to our Melbourne warehouse within 14 days of delivery at the cost of the customer.

Custom and made-to-order lampshades, pendant lighting and wall light fittings are not eligible for a change of mind refund.

If you’d like to return your purchase for a change of mind, please contact us with your order or invoice number via sales@mayfieldlighting.com.au and return your goods to the address below.

Once our warehouse has received your goods, they will be checked against our returns policy and a refund will be paid within 7 days.

Warranty Returns

If your ordered product proves to be faulty, please contact us about a warranty claim via sales@mayfieldlighting.com.au with a description and photos of the issue.

Many of our products are hand-crafted and hand-finished to provide a unique look. Natural imperfections are to be expected and each piece may be different and vary over time with exposure to light and use.

These imperfections cannot be used as the reason for a warranty claim. Mayfield is committed to honouring its obligations of law and providing you with an appropriate remedy.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.

Except where the purchase is from our outlet store, you are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
